Algebra is the part of mathematics that uses letters (e.g. a,b,c,x, ) to represent missing pieces of information. We can use algebra to find missing information and solve problems. Algebra also helps us to spot patterns and find relationships in information we have, as well as to make predictions using any patterns and relationships we might find.
