Level 1 Algebra 1.2 Learning Workbook

This workbook has been revised and updated in response to the recent change in focus in the assessment of AS 91027 (Mathematics and Statistics 1.2), which has brought a change in style of questions in the NCEA Algebra MCAT assessments.

While still offering lots of basic skills practice, the new edition has an increased emphasis on this new style of problem, in which the student is required to select and use appropriate algebraic methods to find solutions. The workbook continues to emphasise the correct use of mathematical symbols and notation in order to demonstrate knowledge of concepts and communicate solutions.
